ESA, together with Spanish partner DRAGO INGENIERÍA Y SERVICIOS, S.L., participated in TECMA 2022, the International Exhibition of Urban Planning and Environment, held in Madrid (Spain) from 14 to 16 June 2022.
It was an opportunity to introduce one of our sustainable proposals for mobile waste collection: the photovoltaic compactor, powered by solar energy.
K-SOLAR is a line of technological photovoltaic compactors able to guarantee a correct and ecological waste collection both in urban and industrial using and combining natural energy sources with high-performance batteries.
The photovoltaic panels use the natural energy of the sun to ensure effective operation of the compactor and the integrated batteries ensure a continuous work cycle even in the absence of sun. As a result, and due to the lack of fuel supply, CO2 emissions are zero.
The controlled access, moreover, allows the operator to encourage the virtuous behavior of the citizen through the recording of the bestowal data and the different sensors placed on the machine detect the level of filling, communicating to the system when it needs to be emptied.
